I rebuilt the front of the site. I’m looking for work so if you like anything you see please get in touch with me if you want to use me as an art director or a graphic designer or video editor and effects designer …In other news, I’m learning Maya from my friend Bobo Do and I’m trying to teach myself Blender to try and make my flash designs with rich 3D content more compelling with 3D graphics using the Collada.as script in the papervision 3D engine for flash… And I just really like 3D graphics and those tools look really amazing to use to make some amazing visual material. I’ve never felt constrained or limited to one skill or material as an artist. Having started at Pratt institute originally as a oil painter evolving gradually into graphic design out of a love for sculpture and photography and computers. And really is was Flash and After Effects that attracted me to the industry and practice of graphic design back in 2000 at Pratt Institute during my foundation year. Flash 5 was exciting because it was starting to really be more than just an animation tool. I hope Papervision becomes more interactive in the future and I will have a chance to create site that function as actual view and interaction with 3D graphic shapes with physics attached to give a sense that you are in a space rather than a 2D graphic design. Honestly I don’t know if graphic designer is really a good title for what I generally do anymore. I feel more like a digital artist, blending mediums to create.I think this is because most of my work to date has all been really small scale jobs and being multifaceted was really just what needed to be done at the time.Going forward I realize I need to specialize and I think art direction is a good road to take right now… And advertising is really interesting and fun to me so thats why I’m here in NYC and building this site to showcase my work.
